Information you provide directly

  • Account registration data: name, email address, and password
  • Product profile data: product name, website URL, descriptions (short, medium, long), logo, screenshots, YouTube demo URL, pricing model, and category tags
  • Founder profile data: your name, social media handles (Twitter/X, LinkedIn), and contact email
  • Payment information: billing details processed securely via our payment provider Dodo Payments (we do not store card numbers)
  • Communications: messages you send to our support team or via email

Information collected automatically

  • Log data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of visits, and referring URLs
  • Device information: operating system, device type, and screen resolution
  • Analytics data: how you interact with our dashboard, which features you use, and session duration
  • UTM and referral data: click-through data from your distributed listings tracked via UTM parameters

03 How We Use Data

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To create and manage your BlastLaunch account
  • To execute your distribution campaign — submitting your product to the directories you've purchased
  • To generate platform-specific, SEO-optimized descriptions unique to each directory
  • To provide your analytics dashboard, showing per-platform referral clicks and live/queued status
  • To process your payment securely
  • To send you transactional emails: order confirmation, submission updates, and campaign completion
  • To respond to your support requests
  • To improve our platform based on aggregate usage patterns
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of our service

04 Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We share your data only in these circumstances:

With distribution platforms (core service)

When we submit your product to directories, we share your product information (name, description, URL, logo, screenshots, category) with those platforms. This is the entire purpose of the service and you consent to this by purchasing.

With service providers

  • Payment processing: Dodo Payments — for secure billing. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Email delivery: Resend — for sending transactional emails on our behalf.
  • Analytics: We use UTM Parameters for analytics that do not sell your data.

Legal requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or government agency).

Business transfers

If BlastLaunch is acquired or merges with another company, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

05 Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate our service. Here's what we use and why:

  • Session cookies: Required to keep you logged in to your dashboard. These expire when you close your browser.
  • Preference cookies: To remember your settings and preferences across visits.
  • Analytics cookies: To understand aggregate usage patterns and improve the product. These are anonymised and not used for advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the dashboard.

06 Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Specifically:

  • Account and product profile data is retained while your account exists and for 90 days after deletion, in case you want to recover it
  • Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations
  • Analytics and log data is retained for up to 24 months, then aggregated or deleted
  • Support communications are retained for 3 years

07 Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

  • All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store plaintext passwords
  • Payment data is processed directly by Dodo Payments and never touches our servers
  • Access to production databases is restricted to authorised team members only
  • We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you via email or a prominent notice on our dashboard.

Continued use of BlastLaunch after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
